CIU and Telenor join hands to impart digital skills to women entrepreneurs in KP

Creative Innovative Unit and Telenor Pakistan join hands to impart digital skills to at least 500 aspiring women entrepreneurs in KPK.The ceremony was held at (Creative Innovative Unit’s office, Ali Tower), where MoU was signed by Project Director Bilal Jabbar and Madiha Parvez. Zia Ullah Khan Bangash, Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Science & Technology and Information Technology, Secretary ST⁢ Mukhtiar Khan and other representatives from both organizations were also present.

Under the auspices of Creative Innovative Unit KP, training on digital skills was conducted — through Telenor Pakistan— where atleast 18 female entrepreneurs from Ran’aa foundation participated. The goal of training was to promote skill sets of the future that includes design thinking and other future technologies with hope to create more awareness about the importance of educating girls and increasing women participation in the labor force for inclusive growth. At the end of the training participants were awarded with certificates and appreciated for their active participation.
